NATIONAL SWIMMING RECORD set by Chanudi Kumarapperuma in Junior 100m Butterfly ! 
Best news comes with the dawn of new year ! Chanudi Kumarapperuma has won 5 Gold Medals with a Junior National record (1:09.27 (MIN:SEC.MICROS) at National and Junior National Short Course Swimming Championship 2022 held at Isipathana College Swimming Pool from 26th to 30th December organized by Srilanka Aquatic Sport Union (SLASU). The events she participated and won are as follows
Butterfly 50m – 1st place
Butterfly 100m- 1st with new junior national record
Butterfly 200m – 1st place
Freestyle 50m – 1st place
Freestyle 100m – 1st place
